I did what I could to calm myself, and stood back from the situation mentally. Ok...easy. Don't go apeshit on him. That's what he WANTS me to do. Chill out...focus...maintain. We can do this.
Just then, the creature jumped at me, grabbing me by the throat, and pushed me between two houses! The narrow space between the houses didn't leave me much room to fight, and even just letting my arms block for me was causing my knuckles to scrape against the brick walls on either side of me. The ferocity of hs attack was getting to be too much, and I needed some room! I backed up, more and more, as he pushed me out into a public street! He kicked me out into traffic, where my back slammed up against the side of a moving bus, and bounced me back to the sidewalk face down! The figure pressed harder and came after me, so I had to get back to my feet before I suffered any more pain here on the ground. I didn't even have the chance to throw a single punch. He was moving so fast that I could only block and dodge in order to keep from getting hit. It was then that I noticed that there were people on this street. Humans. Watching us and not knowing what to make of it all!
They were gasping and talking to one another, some of them yelling for someone to get the cops, and I became distracted. The figure took advantage, and threw me up against a tree. He came right at me, and I moved JUST in time to avoid a kick that was strong enough to send the sappling tree falling into the street! Cars swerved out of control to avoid it, and there was a collision between two Chevys shortly thereafter. I hope they're ok. I looked to see if anyone was hurt, but the fight wasn't over yet, and I felt a kick hit me in the stomach. My knees buckled and the wind was knocked out of me. I didn't even have a chance to think.
Quote #10: "If you keep thinking of everyone else before yourself, you're going to lose...everytime. Because THEY'RE only thinking of themselves too...and that makes them stronger than you."
