It made sense. I mean...I HAD to have made some kind of impact with as much power as I have been throwing into my punches and kicks. And as the figure moved forward...I noticed something. A slightly stumbled slide in his walk that wasn't there before. And even though the shadows swirled up even tighter to hide his appearance from me...I could feel the change in his means of attack. Was he actually hurt?
He struck out at me, and we began to get into it pretty heavily...but I noticed that same subtle difference again, this time in his fighting style. He was avoiding using his left arm, and he cut back on the number of kicks that he was using. In fact, he seemed to be 'protecting' his left side all together. So I took a chance, and swung out to connecta punch to his left set of ribs! The shadow cringed in pain and backed off immediately. That was IT! He was hurting! I was making a dent afterall!!! And he couldn't hide it from me any longer!
