Your fear shows in your eyes, and Chad picks up on it almost immediately. You're still a newborn into the world of being a vampire. You're still afraid of mortal injuries and death. With a smile, Chad takes advantage of that fear, and stabs the knife right through your arm. You panic, and Chad uses the extra second or two of distraction to get away from you.

You want to chase after him, but the deep gash on your arm has you paralyzed. You look at it in disbelief and almost faint from seeing yourself lose so much blood. The chase is over, you lose...chicken.
