Story Notes

I'll be using this page to tell you guys the meaning and inspirations for each story on this site. I'll let you know just how close these characters come to the real thing and how much is just a figment of my imagination.

"New Kid In School"

"New Kid in School" was my very first erotic story ever. I was terrified to write it because I didn't think that it would go over well with the "public". But after reading many good stories on the Nifty Archive for the last year and half, I decided to give it a shot. The story is your typical "boy meets boy" story on his first day in a new school. I got a lot of positive feedback on it and was happy to see that people were reading something that I had written.

I actually had first period history in grade school, and hated it just as much as Randy does in the story!

'Ryan', even though I changed his name, is in fact a real person. He was a good friend of mine in school and he looks like the character in the story. He sat next to me in a couple of classes, but we never had sexual contact. I'm pretty sure that he was straight.

The "Take me to your peter" drawing was actually drawn by me in an art class and I gave it to 'Ryan' to keep. He thought it was hilarious.

There was a time when I actually came close to just kissing this kid in the library once in high school. Thank goodness I had the common sense to hold off on that!

I did spend time at 'Ryan's' house over the years, but it was mostly to trade Garbage Pail Kids or play Pro-Wrestling on the Nintendo 8-bit!

I added the phone ringing in the background for a sense of frustration. The same frustration any gay teenager feels throughout his life. To want something so bad and not be able to have it.

I added the grinding into Randy's leg thing in an attempt to put something in the story that I had never seen before. It was just a little bonus for people who may have read every other story on the Archive and was looking for something new.

I actually got a cramp in my leg once during sex when I was about 16 or 17. My partner practically fell over laughing while I massaged it out!

The fact that Ryan and Randy couldn't stop kissing at the end of the story shows that the relationship was not over. I wanted to leave people with the feeling that they'd always be together.

When I wrote "New Kid", I never intended on writing a sequel. It was supposed to be a one time thing, something so I can say, "Well, I'm glad I got that out of my system!" Besides, I felt that the story had been told and that there was simply nothing else to say. But the feedback was so awesome that I couldn't help but think about writing something else. I wanted to create a good story that wasn't just about sex, but about people who have sex. It's hard to explain, but I'm glad the other readers enjoyed the change of pace, and it's their inspiration that helped me to keep writing.

"Eddie And Me"

The second outing in the erotica scene was "Eddie and Me". This story gave me a LOT of trouble, and is basically the reason that I started a website. I'm working on a webtv, so the only way I could submit anything to Nifty was to type it in an email, all in one sitting, and send it off. The computer kept shutting off and the power cut out once, and I kept losing the story and starting all over again. What you're reading is actually a "FOURTH" copy of the original! While many people liked it, it didn't go over as well as "New Kid" and people begged for a sequel.

I chose Eddie Furlong because for some reason, that I still can't explain, I was madly in love with him for years! It started in Terminator 2 and by the time Brainscan rolled around, I was head over heels for him. So in part this story is dedicated to him.

I think he looked his best in Terminator 2 and Pet Semetary 2, so that's when the story takes place.

Jason, the name of the main character, was also the name of my first 'lover' when I was 14.

I added the lines about being teased in the malls and at school to once again show that frustration. If you've ever been to the surrounding suburbs of Chicago, then you know that the kids here are UNNATURALLY gorgeous!!! Especially in places like Evanston, Skokie, Northbrook, Niles, and most northern towns! I still go out to see the parade!

I actually used the empty Coke can gag to meet a cute kid at summer camp once. I was 15 at the time.

Eddie's hair falling into Jason's lap came from a dream I once had about the teen star.

The part about kissing Eddie while he was penetrating Jason was a sweet memory from my past. The other kid was 14 and I was 16, and he was really into kissing. This was the first time I had ever really kissed a boy (that much anyway), and I remember it as being one of the more erotic experiences of my life.

I really liked the way the original "Eddie and Me" turned out, but by the time I had rewritten it for the fourth time...I just wanted to get it done! But I'm still happy with the version that came out. The responses were great, but so many people asked for a sequel to "New Kid" that it kind of took away from this story. I think that maybe my crush on Eddie made me take a lot for granted, but I decided to keep writing.

"The Boy Next Door"

I decided to go back to my roots on this story and have more interaction between the characters. I had the beginnings of my website running and room to save my work, so this story could stand to be a bit longer and more drawn out. I wanted to tease the audience a little more and add some more details. This is also when I made the promise to do a "New Kid" sequel to the good people who wrote to me asking for one. But I wanted to experiment with one more story first, and see if I could create the same 'Ryan/Randy' feel with some different characters.

I actually had an apartment where I could look down in my neighbors bedroom window. He was cute, but I never got quite the show that Brian did!

The saying, "It's not the heat, it's the humidity!" should be Chicago's national anthem! No one can get through oe summer without hearing that phrase a hundred thousand times!

Josh is based on another real person that I knew in high school. The ripped shirt comes from an accident that happened where somebody ripped his shirt in gym class. (Right over the nipple!)

I met the boy next door to me because he was locked out of the house one day. We clicked instantly and became friends the same day.

My friends and I were always watching the "Toxic Avenger" in grade school and laughing our assess off! I now own the special uncut version on DVD!!!

Josh's catch phrase of "Gotta run! See ya!" is the way I used to end all of my emails. I did it all the time and try not to do it so much anymore.

I happen to be an artist, and Brian's comment, "He's an artist, and artists are weird anyway!" Is just my way of poking fun at myself.

The video tape actually came from an accident that I had with my roommate in college (Who I loved dearly, but never told him about my orientation.). I used to watch him when he slept in the morning because every once in a while his cock would stick up through his boxer shorts and I'd catch a glimpse. Well, one day I set up a camera to get it on tape and when I played it back...he got up as soon as I left and started jacking off! True story! I never taped him again, but I kept the tape...for prosperity, you know.

I described Josh's ass by using a picture that our scoutmaster took of us in the shower at summer camp as a joke. I looked at the picture, and the boy standing next to me just had the most beautiful ass I'd ever seen. I don't have the picture, but I can remember every detail!

This was the last story that I wrote before tackling the "New Kid" sequel, and I was really happy with the responses I got from it. After "Eddie and Me" I started to wonder if my writing had stopped with "New Kid", but the support I got from "Boy Next Door" gave me the confidence to move on. Some asked for a sequel to this story too, but that's still up in the air at this point.

"New Kid In School: Second Chapter"

Finally, after tossing and turning over what I could use to make a sequel to "New Kid" I came up with an idea that I was happy with. I was really worried that this chapter wouldn't live up to the expectations of the first. After all, I had just gotten lucky with the first chapter. So I added a new character, Tyler, and tried to make some waves in Ryan and Randy's "perfect" relationship. I sat down and wrote this entire story in one sitting, I was too scared to let it go and lose my place. I liked the way it seemed to connect so well to the first one.

I don't know remember why, but I actually had sex with a friend of mine on the bathroom floor once. Why the bathroom floor when we were in the house alone? Don't ask!

I put the 'Tootsie Roll' song in the story to show that Ryan and Randy had something that no one else could share. A little inside joke. A friend of mine actually made the joke about the commercial in the fifth grade, but there was nothing sexual about it. Back then we thought it was hilarious.

The real 'Ryan' did have girls chasing after him left and right, especially in high school. But he was always really selective when it came to women. He wasn't a slut by any means.

Tyler is loosely based on this kid that I met when I was 17. He was an old friend that I hadn't seen since kindergarten, but our parents were friends so they brought him by and he turned out to be a hottie! That was the last time I saw him.

The battle between Tyler and Randy came from a time when I had an old friend from childhood and a new best friend over at my house at the same time in junior high. They did not get along at ALL! I think all kids go through that phase though.

I had originally planned a threesome to make the sequel better than the first one, but it didn't feel right. Now I'm really glad that I didn't go that way with the second chapter.

I added Ryan's "heart bursting look" to give the readers something familiar from the first story. Sort of a hidden link type of thing.

I always like to show that there's love after sex by having the characters kiss and cuddle for a while. The intimacy helps people identify more.

Even though the idea of a sequel terrified me at first, I was really relieved when I got straight A's across the board from the fans of the original! Some comments said that they wanted more sex, some said that it was too short, and others still wanted a three way to happen with the three boys. But the consensus seemed to be "job well done". It was at this point that I figured a third one was possible, and if a third...why not a fourth? The website was well underway and I started to wonder if I could just keep writing until people stopped reading. So I continued.

"Arcade Junkie"

Once again, I set out to create another set of characters that had the same passion between them that the other stories had. I was glad that this story came out so easily. It just seemed to write itself after the first few sentences, and I did this one all in one sitting also. I used this story as a distraction while I thought of something to put into the next "New Kid" story. This was probably the easiest story of all to write because it's something I have always wished would happen to me.

The story is set in an actual arcade around here (at least that's what I had in mind). I really did come away from that place with PLENTY of jack off material on the weekends, and it was also the place where I met one of my best friends.

Matt and Sam are real people who walked home with my friends and me after school every day. They looked a little different, but the characters are based on them. I had a crush on Sam in the 7th grade, and even though they weren't gay, they were the best of friends and I often pictured them doing things together.

I added Sam's retainer because of a guy in my gym class who wore one. For some reason I thought that was so hot! He was really cute!

I thought about having the two kids spark up a cigarette after their competitive match in the arcade to simulate a sexual experience, but I decided against it. It didn't seem to fit, so I cut the scene out.

Instead of just having the kids play the game and having Sam just ask Matt out for a bite to eat "out of nowhere", I chose to have them team up against other players. That way it seemed more natural for them to form a friendship and then go out for some food. Then they don't just look like strangers to each other.

The scene with the comic books on the floor was related to an experience that created a crush for me on a good friend of mine. I remember laying next to him on the floor, and that closeness somehow triggered something that made me fall for him. Nothing ever became of it though.

The mother constantly calling Matt for trivial things was added to create tension and frustration in the story. It made the characters want it more, even through the interruptions, they maintained a sense of longing for one another.

If you read carefully, Matt takes his shirt off after his mom calls him the first time, but when she calls the second time, he fails to put it back on! So he hands the iron to his mom while he has his shirt off! A blooper on my part that I didn't catch until I went back and re-read the completed story a week or so later.

As soon as the mother pulls out of the driveway, the two boys get louder and louder with their screams. I put this in to signify a sense of "release" in the story. That feeling of finally finding someone who won't judge you or make fun of you...someone who understands. Anyone, young, old, boy, girl, gay, or straight could relate to that.

The two kids screaming and laughing takes them back to the arcade. They're still having fun.

The last lines of the story, Matt mentions a "Spider Man comic, a car, and a million dollars". I wanted to show that even though they were doing "grown up" things...they are both still kids. They've still got a childhood to enjoy together!

I'm amazed that this story flowed out of me without any resistance at all. Once I started, I couldn't stop until it was finished. The story was one of the highest rated stories since "New Kid" and sequel requests poured in. Sam and Matt became two of my favorite characters at the time, and I used the good points from this story to start another story...but first....

"New Kid In School: Third Chapter"

I was a little more confident with the third chapter of "New Kid" because I was comfortable with the characters and because the second on actually left room for a continuation. I definitely wanted Tyler to be a threat this time around, even though Randy was put at ease in the second chapter. I wanted to make him almost a villain in the series. I started this episode off heavy with a sexual interlude to kick things off.

This was the first time that Randy's mom was really introduced into the story. She never really played an active role in the series before.

The playful teasing between the two boys shows their youth. It's still a game to them, all be it a very serious one. But the characters are more experienced now, more connected. They both know what the other one likes and dislikes. I really liked how the characters had grown that way.

I added a bit of humor into the beginning for the hell of it. I thought it was a funny gag that seemed to fit Ryan and Randy's childish ways perfectly.

I brought back the tootsie roll joke to connect this chapter to the other stories. You kind of have to go back and read the other parts to find out what it's all about. The kids are getting closer and closer to being caught.

I talked about Randy being "tempted" to show that despite his loving relationship with Ryan, he's still a horny teenager. Even though neither one really says it out loud, they are both extremely attracted to Tyler.

This story starts Ryan and Randy's first actual fight. Tyler wouldn't be that much of a threat if he was straight, so naturally I made him gay. And things could get better...or worse.

I couldn't have been happier with this chapter of the story. It did everything that I wanted it to do and when it was finished, I didn't change a thing. By now, people had gotten so involved with the characters that they didn't ever want the story to end. It was at this time that I decided to make it a monthly series on my website. I had a nice collection of stories now and was more than eager to see how far I could go with these stories.

"A Stepbrother I Could Love"

Even though this got a placement in the "Incest" section at the Nifty Archive, that wasn't really what I had in mind. It was a story about two boys meeting for the first time and falling in love...just like the others. I wanted to have a slightly larger difference in the ages of the two characters, and I made the circumstances a little better by having them live together. I was anxious to start writing as soon as I worked out the idea in my head.

The Carter character was based on this beautiful boy that I saw on the train. He was about thirteen years old and was coming home from the Cubs game with his mom. The poor little guy was so tired that he had passed out and leaned his head against the window. That angelic face is the inspiration for this entire story.

This story was written from my memory of my own parents divorce. I also remember my mom dating other men...not a pretty site for a 15 year old kid!

I made the main character bisexual to give the story a different twist. It also worked well with Carter's girlish appearance and feminine nature. I could only dream of finding a significant other so 'complete'.

Because I was born an only child, and had to get used to my mom dating other people, I used to tell her to make sure she married somebody with kids. I always wanted a brother or sister. Not to do things that took place in the story...but that would've been a nice bonus!

Spending my days in summer school or in summer camp, I got used to the sexual frustration caused by that special gap that forms in the legs of boys shorts. I've spent many countless hours searching for a moment when that fabric would lift just an inch higher! So I added that into the story.

There was an actual occasion when I had to masturbate while in the same bed with a friend of mine while he was asleep. I was 13 or 14 at the time, and I just wasn't going to be able to sleep until I relieved myself! He never woke up...thank goodness.

When the two kids burned the pizza in the story, it actually happened in real life! I put a pizza in the oven and was halfway through typing this story when I smelled the smoke. I guess I was really wrapped up in the moment. I thought it was funny, and added it into the story.

The part where the two of them were kissing on the couch, reflects my very first time with a girl. She was my friend's sister, and it happened on the living room couch.

When I first wrote this story, I liked the sudden change in Carter when he just burst into this ball of sexual energy. But now that I read it again, I wish I hadn't rushed into it so fast. It was something that I wanted to be more gradual in terms of Carter being a virgin and having his first experience with sex.

I was worried about the length of this story at first. By itself it was almost as long as BOTH of "New Kid's" first two chapters, and I didn't think people would be patient enough to get to the sex. But I loved the characters immensely and figured that I'd let the story stay like it was, without changing or cutting out any of the friendship building parts. I was happy with it and so were the loyal readers of my website. Some actually wanted it to be longer and wanted a sequel made right away. I got excellent feedback from my viewers and this story still remains one of the all time favorites to the people who stop by and read my work! Little did I know...that it would be the LAST story to ever be placed on my website at Tripod...

"Unnatural Attraction"

DISASTER STRIKES!!! I came home one day after work, expecting to finish work on my new stories and really put some work into my webpage, when I got an email from Tripod. The letter said that I had a page containing material that they did not want to host and that they were immediately canceling my membership! I must have stared at those words for a good twenty minutes before the depression set in. All of my hard work had been erased, including most of "New Kid" Chapter 4 and two completely finished other stories (One involving two kids who ditched a field trip together, and one about a boy who obsessively follows another boy through a shopping mall...the second became "Unnatural Attraction" after a few major changes.)! I sent out a mass email to my readers and told them the news...and the response was fantastic! They all gave me a great deal of support and advice and it lifted my spirits when I needed it most. Then, a good friend (R.Z.) at Kanza, offered me space on his independent server to start again! He even saved most of the design and stories from the first page so I wouldn't have to start from scratch! I was back in action in two weeks time and I dedicated this entire page to the people who stood behind me and let me know they were there for me! The shut down became a small obstacle.

I was really reluctant to start this story because of the changes I had made and because I hate re-writing stories! Especially after all of the trouble I had with "Eddie and Me". But I finally sat down and did it. This was the first story to appear on the website since the shut down, and the future of the site kind of depended on it being a decent read.

When moving the location of this story from the mall to the school seemed difficult at first. But I remembered a time when I was head over heels in love with a girl named Jennifer in the fourth grade (My first true love), and was too scared to speak to her. I used that as the base of my story and it just wrote itself after that. I actually did follow her home on the last day of school, but unfortunately...I chickened out.

The name 'Brice' came from a very cute kid at my school that I shared a locker with in junior high. Every day was a joyful experience seeing him, and another boy that I had "relations" with ended up having a huge crush on him in high school.

I used to use the girl gossip network to find out info on some of the guys in my class too. If I just said something like, "He's just lame" or something bad about him (jokingly of course), some girl would jump to his defense and tell me exactly what I needed to know. It works for those of you trying to figure someone out.

The fact that they had the same dentist was just a quick memory that I had of a kid I met in the waiting room of the dentists office once when I was 14. I can still see his beautiful face as though it was yesterday!

I actually did the call and hang up routine one afternoon when I was trying to ask a girl named Amy out to a movie in the sixth grade. I think it was like "Weekend At Bernie's" or something! Weird.

Brice's Cubs jersey was taken from a picture of a boy in the Target "Back To School" sale paper! He was so damn cute that I actually cut the picture out and held onto it! Four years later...I still have it!

The first time I'd ever seen a teen magazine was with my best friend in his house. The magazine belonged to his sister, and even though we were laughing, the experience made me go out and buy a couple for myself. If you haven't seen one yet, you've GOT to check one out! It's very.."relaxing".

The caller ID box just kind of jumped into my head as I was writing the story. I was searching for a certain 'moment of truth' between the two characters so they'd have a green light to make a move on one another. It's a good thing that they didn't have Caller ID back in my day!

I once had one of the gorgeous guys from down the block (He was 16 and I was only 13) ride me to the park to play football on his bike. I distinctly remember his beautiful ass bobbing up and down in front of me as he peddled. I had to hold onto his hips to balance myself a few times, and it was incredible!

I added the notebook with Brice's name all over it at the end to return to that innocent infatuation that the story began with. The obsession is far from over.

I was happy with the way this story turned out. Even though it was basically a rewrite from another story, I liked this one even better. I think this particular story really brought back some good memories for me and there were a few times where I had to laugh a little at how much it reminded me of the good old days. This was favored by a lot of people, and it relieved a lot of tension for me. I consider this the official "Come back" story after the Tripod disaster. I posted this in a gay teen newsgroup and doubled the amount of readers in a matter of days. This is when the page started getting noticed.

"New Kid In School: Fourth Chapter"

This was the first "New Kid" chapter to appear on the page since the Tripod shut down and I was worried about how it would look. It was already two thirds of the way finished when it suddenly got erased, and considering my less than spectacular showings of other re-written works, I was afraid that this would stand out as the odd one in the series. However, as soon as I started writing it, the rhythm just came naturally and this became one of the most important stories in the entire saga. It was weird how that turned out.

In this episode, I really wanted to separate Tyler from his reputation of being a "bad guy". I wanted him to have an actual character and personality, not just be an extra thrown in for conflict. So I lightened his presence a little bit, and showed a friendlier, more approachable Tyler.

This story started out with a wet dream to display Randy's obvious attraction for Tyler. I was a bit worried that people would think they missed something if they didn't read it all the way through, but they seemed to get the idea without any confusion. I also threw this in to tease the many readers who were begging for a Ryan, Randy, and Tyler threesome!

Any guy growing up knows the frustrating and agonizing routine of trying to hide a wet dream from parents or siblings! I have bad (and yet fond) memories of having to change my underwear and stuff in the middle of the night because of it! Thought that Randy should have to do it too!!!

I had Tyler and Ryan interact at the lunch table to show their friendship and give them an easy going image. However, Ryan is shown with Randy first to display one side of Randy, and Tyler shows up later to display the other side. It's the line separating love and lust. (Sounds symbolic...don't it?)

I probably should've added this little detail into the story somewhere. It got past some people, but a few people pointed out that Ryan and Randy should have told Tyler right off the bat that they were dating. Here's the reason why they didn't, they simply didn't want Tyler feeling like a third wheel. They didn't want him to feel like he was constantly interrupting their dating time. Another reason is that I still wanted Tyler to be a threat to the relationship, but still be a likable character. I didn't want him to just try to steal Randy away knowing that he had a boyfriend. Now you know!

If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the fist times that Ryan and Randy were shown just 'hanging out' without sexing each other crazy! I really liked the way they were able to share intimate moments like that. That's what love is all about.

I can easily say that the love scene between Ryan and Randy in this story was possibly the most erotic one in the series! It was one of the few that I enjoy reading over and over again! (I never read my work again after it's done. I probably should.) The foot thing was actually taken from a 'mate' of mine. The first time we had sex, it started with us at two different ends of the couch and playing around with our feet. It's hard to remember exactly how we got from there to having sex in my bedroom, but I remember our feet in each other's crotches and getting very turned on by it! The feeling of his foot against my groin and my feet against his hard cock...ahem...sorry, got off track there for a minute!

By the end of the story, Ryan has become the third wheel and the entire love triangle seems reversed. I was overjoyed when people wrote to me saying that the ending was unpredictable and exciting! That only psyched me up for the next one! This is where the story really begins to get its 'soap opera' feel.

This episode is, to me, the first of many cliffhangers in the "New Kid" series. I got a shit load of email from readers telling me how much they had gotten involved in the story and cared about the characters. It was the most flattering thing in the world! The story really began to take shape after this, and "New Kid" became a separate entity from the other stories. I gave it its own section on the page and it became a bi-weekly series. I was originally going to have it be a weekly series, but with school, work, free time, party time, and lack of privacy at times...there was no possible way. Maybe I'll win the lottery and can sit home and write this for a living all day!
