Widow / Rachael Strickland - A 19 year old female assassin, Widow is much more deadly than she appears to be. She has razor sharp blades that she wears on her fingertips, capable of cutting through flesh, muscle, and bone, with ease. She is a part of 'Exile's' newly assembled strike team, although, the two agents seemed to have worked together in the past. She has short hair, dyed green, and greenish blue eyes. It appears that she has a certain level of affection concerning 'Exile', but keeps it mostly under wraps. His sexuality doesn't include her, his profession doesn't allow him much room for a relationship, and she's aware of that. But sometimes, the heart won't listen.
Hell Razor / Tariq Fontaine - While maintaining a rather sarcasticly grumpy disposition most of the time, Hell Razor is one of the most deadly members of Exile's assault team. He has been trained with nearly every bladed weapon known to man, and is extremely skilled with an expandable bo staff, his weapon of choice. Ten years ago, Hell Razor was on an assignment that exposed him to an almost fatal dose of sunlight, leaving him horribly scarred and burned almost beyond recognition. He wears a blue nylon mask with a black sun visor, as well as a cape to hide the deformity. His eyes are extremely sensitive to light, even to artificial light, due to his injury, but the visor helps to filter some of it out. He is a focused and loyal soldier, indeed...but sometimes prone to nearly 'psychotic' episodes when angered in battle.
Freak - A nosferatu vampire with a weakness to occassional blood lust frenzies, Freak is also a vital part of Exile's attack squad. He is a computer genius, best used for surveillace and information. But Freak's strength is an asset, and he can fight with the best of them. His monsterous image can be frightening to most targets, and usually maintains surveillance and communications from inside the van when on assignment. However, if needed, he will quickly jump in to any conflict to help capture a suspect if the situation gets out of hand. Freak is bald all over, with no hair on his body whatsoever, and has chalky white, leathery skin. He has extra long arms, and his eyes are blood red, with goblin like pointed ears and twisted discolored fangs. He is incredibly intelligent, and his age is, as of yet, unknown.
Dr. Julius Colby - Dr. Colby has been in darkness for over 18 years, but only crossed over when he was 9 years old. Making him 27 years old. Only a young boy with short blond hair and wire rimmed glasses, he keeps a rather 'standoffish' composure most of the time. Caused mostly by the fact that the others treat him like a little boy sometimes, which he can't stand. He's shorter than the others, naturally, with dark brown eyes, and has a bit of a lisp when he talks. His hormones never kicked in before his crossover, so he never reached puberty, but is as skilled a doctor as any other in the underground facility. If not moreso.
Mistress Katrina - A vampire Mafia Princess, Katrina can pretty much whatever she wants, whenever she wants. She is the 'queen' of this entire operation, and runs the facility with ease, as most are afraid to challenge her authority. It only takes a word from her to have professionals come in and solve whatever 'problems' she could possibly have with an agent under her command, as long as it is in accordance with the Elders wishes. She is about 25 years old, and has been in darkness for a little over a decade. She has black hair, brown eyes, dark red lipstick, and black obsidian earrings. Her newest love is a lovely 14 year old boy that she sired recently, and she watches over him closely. Guarding him as though no one else were allowed to touch him for ANY reason. He is more her 'property' than a soulmate, but being away from her vigilant eye is not an option. Heaven help the person to harm a hair on his head, or take his attention from her dark beauty.
Elias Sneed - Katrina's main advisor and right hand lackey. Elias Sneed carries Katrina's orders down to the rest of the soldiers under her command, and hands out the assignments needed to keep their particular precinct under control. Sneed is 21 years old, but looks older. He has thinnning hair, an elongated face, and is extremely skinny. Almost anorexic. He has a deep voice, spiced with a low English accent, and maintains a snobbish attitude, often reinforced by being so close to Katrina's final word on all operations within that facility. He helps her to keep a close eye on all that goes on there, and is instructed to report back to her with anything that might seem out of place...putting an end to any problematic actions before they get the chance to spread to the others.
Orion - A young boy of 14 who was sired by Katrina and has become her personal 'property' in the process. He is still a newblood, has yet to hunt, and evidently talks to Exile often when no one is looking. He is known for sneaking out at night and visiting 'Adam' in his quarters behind his Mistress' back, and is just looking for someone to love and understand him in this dangerous world of darnkess. He has medium length blond hair with bangs in the front, and soft light blue eyes. What his relationship is to Adam is as of yet, unknown, but it appears that they've shared a few intimate conversations together, and what Orion feels for him just may be a little bit more han a crush.
Dixon - Dixon is a combat trainer for the whole facility, and possibly a few other faciliies in the surrounding areas of town. If any cadet in training wants to be a part of their outfit, or has aspirations of being a vampire hunter, they have to go through him. He has detailed files on all of his recruits, and probably knows them better than they know themselves. He operates strictly by the book, and even though he does care for and sympathize with his soldiers, he hides it behind the mask of being 'professional'. He is a tall man with an athletic build, bald head, and an eye patch.
Dutch - About 35 years old when he crossed over, and about 25 years spent in darkness, Dutch is a friendly older vampire who often plays the middle man between Mistress Katrina and her troops. He's responsible for soldier maintenance and dispatching teams to take care of their assignments. He has reddish brown hair, a moustache, and speaks with a faint Houston, Texas accent. He acts as a big brother figure for most of the others.
Liam - Straight from Ireland, Liam is an expert at espionage. The order's top spy, he knows how to find out information from almost any source in the streets on how to find a certain target. Either through his almost invisible presence in the vampire underground, or through his special means of forceful interrogation. He was about 18 years old when he crossed over, a beautiful boy-next-door look, with short dark hair and light green eyes. Liam has a heavy Southern Irish accent, and is known to be VERY protective of his younger brother, Dotti, who he sired himself in order to save him from a bad situation back at home.
Dotti - Liam's little brother was only 13 when he crossed over, and is still training as a cadet to hopefully be a hunter someday. It appears that he has had some previous 'contact' with Exile in the past, and has developed a rather heavy infatuation with him over time. His big brother doesn't know about their sexual interludes, and that's probably for the best. Exile doesn't seem to return Dotti's affection wholeheartedly, but that doesn't keep the young Irish boy from fantasizing anyway.
Jeremy - A blood dealer who lives in a shack on the outskirts of the downtown area. He keeps a low profile by staying in a place that looks like an old rundow shack, but has an underground morgue down below. While Jeremy can be a friendly and personable character most times, he is a very shrewd businessman! Business and pleasure are never mixed, and nothing brings the demon out of Jeremy like a customer who owes him money for 'services rendered'. His two guard wolves, Torsten and Grim, help him keep his work running smoothly, and all of his debts paid....one way...or the other.
Cato - A spice dealer who works on the south side of town, Cato is as fast as he is strong when it comes to protecting his shacks from intruders. A fierce martial artist with ties to the vampire mafia, it is Cato's job to make sure that their operation stays a secret, and that a vampire's drugs are always paid for. He has the ability to walk on walls with ease, often fighting in may different dimensions that the others can't defend against, and surrounds himself with guards to help him keep the peace.
Soren - Soren is quite possibly one of the biggest fighting promoters in the entire city, running his own underground arena and promising wealth and riches to anyone who comes to win. It is the largest vampire gambling habit in the country, ad he will do nearly anything to make sure that he profits from it. He is surrounded all day and all night by those that he pays to protect him, and has no problem using his wealth to create a lot of influence in the streets. Whether it's buying loyalty and information, or hiring hitmen and raiders to carry out his wishes. With his heavy security and his abiliy to 'reach out' with his hired help, Soren may just be one of the most dangerous vampires around.
Diva - A drag queen that frequents the park, 'Divinity James' ('Diva' for short), is the mot reliable source of gossip and information in town. Diva is a well practiced reader, and can often be found in places where vampires congregate in great numbers,either to find a donor to hunt, or in clubs where 'mental conversation' is in the air. If anyone needs some underground dirt on someone, Diva is the one to see. However, respect and a little bit of polite conversation is a must. Diva won't give up any informatio to anyone with an attitude that exceeds her own.
Pan - A vampire that can only be found through the use of a computer and internet access. Pan is somewhat of a historian, often offering information about suh topics as vampire evolution, historic events, and has possible access to hidden vampire scriptures that others don't have. Finding him online takes a bit of sleuthing and many passwords, code words, and secret button strikes, are needed to find him initially. But once found, he is always available, and can give background information on almost any topic you need to know about. However, drawing him into the line of fire is not going to fly with him at all. He might be willing to do a few favors here and there under the table...but get him in trouble with the 'powers that be' and he'll cut you off without so much as another word.
Gyro - The adrenaline junkie who can't get enough of the party! Gyro never stands still for more than a couple of seconds at a time. So interaction with him is always extremely brief at best. Then he's darting back into the crowd to enjoy himself again. A boy who crossed over at 13, Gyro is constantly looking for loud crowded places to immerse himself in, often hopping from club to club, drinking until he can hardly stand. He definitely gets around, and has a way with the ladies of all ages, so he has literally become a celebrity of sorts to everyone in the club circuit, and is always welcome due to his charismatic and enjoyably wild antics. While he may not stick around for much more than a short conversation or two before you 'blow his buzz'...he can definitely be an asset. If you need to get into a club or a secret celebration somewhere in the vamire underground, Gyro can get you there. But it's best not to tell him why you're there. If he thinks that you're there to crash the party, he'll refuse to help.
